Du Métier Technical Investigations and Consultants is a closed corporation , based in South Africa, that specialises in road traffic accident reconstruction. This specific field of service that we offer to the law fraternity is our main concern. Added to this, we offer metallurgical analysis in cases where the possibility of mechanical failure exists. This is to support the findings in the reconstruction of the accident scene. We also offer our service to Law and Order organisations, such as the South African Police Service and other government investigation teams for the investigation of vehicle theft and fraud where vehicles are involved. Experienced forensic engineers and forensic technicians, with the applicable technical qualifications do our investigations and the actual accident reconstruction.
Our main
aim on this specific page is to promote traffic safety and to
supply links to other related sites. South Africa is the country
with the highest death toll due to road traffic accidents. We at
Du Métier therefore want to create an awareness of dangers that
do exist on the road, especially for the South African road user.
The biggest cause of accidents is negligence, and the results can
